  24.                              OBJECTIVE
  25.  
  26.     The object of WordMax is to find as many new words as you can
  27.     using the letters that make up the Master Word.
  28.

  30.                             GAME PLAY
  31.  
  32.     The program will ask you to type in your initials in order to set
  33.     up your personal scorecard. You will only have to select the 
  34.     number corresponding to your initials the next time you play.
  35.     Up to 8 players can be recorded with personal scorecards.
  36.  
  37.     Select a Master Word by pressing the <C>hoose Word option. A 
  38.     scrolling list of Master Words will appear. Using your arrow keys
  39.     (Up/Dwn/PgUp/PgDwn), select the word you want from the list. 
  40.     Press the <Enter> key to load the Master Word into the program.
  41.  
  42.     There are two numbers next to the words.   Example: Arcade   43/0
  43.     The first number represents the number of possible words that 
  44.     WordMax has found for that Master Word, the second number is the 
  45.     number of words that you have found.
  46.  
  47.     Once you've selected a word, it will appear on the game board.
  48.     A yellow border will surround the first letter of the word.
  49.     To create a new word using the letters from this Master Word,
  50.     use your right & left arrow keys to move the yellow highlight
  51.     until it appears on the letter you want selected. Press the
  52.     <Spacebar> to Select the letter. The letter you've selected
  53.     will now appear in the small box below the Master Word.
  54.  
  55.     Continue selecting letters from the remaining letters in the
  56.     Master Word to produce a new word. When you want to check the
  57.     new word you've created, press the <Down Arrow> or <Enter> key.
  58.     This word will be checked against WordMax's 80,000 word dictionary
  59.     to see if you have spelled a new word. New words must be at least
  60.     3 letters long and can only be used once during a round. However,
  61.     you can add plurals to the word to make another word.

  67.     You Could Create  : Rat/Tar/Rats/Tars/Char/Chars/Chart/Art etc...

  73.                          CANCEL LETTERS

  75.     You can cancel your letter choices at any point by pressing
  76.     the <Esc> key. This will erase all the previously selected
  77.     letters and restore the Master Word to the game board.
